The First Rotary Club in Tampa
The Rotary Club of Tampa is 130 members of all ages, professions, and cultural backgrounds, united as people of action, making a difference with hands on service, leadership, and philanthropic giving, both locally and internationally. Our members support one another in business and build friendships that last a lifetime. We work hard and have a lot of fun together.
Flags for Hillsborough’s Heroes was born in 2020 with three goals in mind – to honor the heroes that surround us every day, to bring the community together in a spirit of unity and patriotism, and to financially support local causes that served those directly impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic.
The Rotary Club of Tampa was chartered by the Rotary Club of Jacksonville in 1914 as the second Rotary Club in Florida and the 117th Rotary club worldwide. Our organization is woven into the fabric of the city, led by civic and business leaders with a heart for service above self. We are proud of our long history of significant impact, and are excited for the new opportunities to come.
The Rotary Club of Tampa Foundation provides financial support for the Club’s local and international projects and charities. Its carefully managed portfolio and mindful grant process ensure our ongoing impact with the many meaningful organizations with whom we partner each year.
